Vietnam Memorial

The walk down to the Wall.
I found it fitting that there were several flags leaned up against the wall, what a beautiful tribute.

This is the Women in Vietnam statue, I thought it was touching.

This was my favorite shot, the soldiers overlooking their fallen comrades at the wall.

I learned several things about this memorial, the names are listed by when the soldier was killed from start to finish. You could look up a specific name and the book would tell you what panel, what line and what space the name would be found. I watched several family members do this and also watched them sit and stare at that name remembering who they were. This was very awe inspiring.
