Mom and Dad Update

So I talked to mom and Dad last night on the phone. Mom is having issues getting pictures to upload (like its taking 30+ minutes to upload 1 picture). They have been having a great time. Yes they finally got their luggage although it was completely wet and soaked with dirty, rusty water. Needless to say several things are stained and possibly ruined. They have filed a claim, but not sure what will happen then. They did get a free dinner at the pay restaurant on the ship and had an "AMAZING" surf and turf dinner. They got special treatment, because of the issues, extra dessert etc... They have been in seafood heaven, the last couple of time I have talked with them they have been eating crab on pier. Dad says he is having fun, which is good, we always worry about him not being busy enough, with stuff he wants to do. They are gone for several more days. Dad told me he got to watch them clean an 81 lb halibut in Juneau and thought it was way cool. Mom said the glacier was absolutely so cool. I am glad they are having a great time!

Mendenhall Glacier AK

Eagles nesting on the moutainside, we saw as we were on the Tram going to the top.
Juneau from the top of Mount Roberts. Our first city that has been rainy.

Mandenhall Glacier was beautiful. It is about a 25 minute walk out to the glacier.

Icy Straight Point, AK

We saw 12 whales today and I think I shot at least 700 pictures. When they put the tail in the air they are diving deep and you will not see them again for about 20 minutes.
It was alot colder today on the water, I wore my sweatshirt all day. We are going Whale watching.

Ketchikan, AK

Jack in front of the totem telling of the Raven and the Fog Woman. We saw some amazing totem's and Tillgluit lodge homes. We talked with a woman craver of totem's she makes her own tools and charges only $3000.00 a foot.

The Great Lumberjack show our team the Canadian's from Dawson Creek.
Those good looking boys in the red and black.

Inland Waterway

Mountians, mountains everywhere.
To many trees to count.
Can there be a place that exists like this on earth?
