FDR and his dog. This is a beautiful monument. My issue with it is it's size. This monument just kept going and going and going. Not that FDR was not an important piece of American history, but this monument was completed before the WWII memorial was done, it is completed before a WWI memorial has been done. I just think we have to remember that FDR was a man not a God and the monument made him into a God. I was disappointed.
